What Is a Lash Lift? Everything to Know Before Booking

Lash Lifts

Lash lifts have become hugely popular among beauty enthusiasts in the past few years. A lash lift is a long-lasting beauty service that provides the natural appearance of fuller, longer, and darker lashes.

Some people think that lash lifts are only for those with straight lashes that want their lashes curled, but this isn’t true. A lash lift can also be helpful for everyday wear or even when you're going out at night—and this guide will explain everything you need to know about it!

What is a Lash Lift?

If you're looking for a way to save time when applying makeup, consider a lash lift and tint! A lash lift is a cosmetic treatment involving a special solution to curl your eyelashes. A lash lift combined with a lash tint is great for people who want their lashes to look longer and more full but don't have the time or patience for thick false lashes or prefer a more natural look.

How Does it Work?

Before your treatment begins, we'll do an evaluation, so we know exactly how much curling is needed. The technician will gently remove all eye makeup before the procedure begins, but arriving with cleaned eyes will make the process much smoother and faster.

Your technician will choose the appropriate silicone mold and adhere the eyelashes to the silicone mold. Once the lashes are separated and glued back, the technician will determine the time needed for the lash lift and apply a coat of solution one starting from the root to a little more than half of the lash length. Plastic wrap will be placed on both eyes to help keep in the heat for the setting. Once the time is up, the first solution will be cleaned off before applying the second solution.

Once the second round is complete, your technician will clean off the second solution. The next step is optional, but always recommened if you want to give your lashes a pop and don't want to be bothered with mascara. Tint will be applied for 5 minutes, from the root of the lash to the tip covering the entire lash. Once the time is up, the tint is removed and gently remove the silicone mold from the lashes. The last and final step is to apply a nourishing oil onto the lashes, with a lash spoolie gently coming up the lashes, drying the lashes with a fan for 30 seconds.

We'll send you on your way with freshly curled lashes that last anywhere from six to eight weeks.

How Long Does a Lash Lift Last?

Lash lifts can last anywhere from 6-8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle. If you want your lashes to last longer, regularly scheduled appointments are suggested. Most clients return for a re-lift at 4-6 weeks.

Does a Lash Lift Really Work?

Yes, they do! Lash lifts are a fantastic way to get the look of eyelash extensions without the hassle of having to get them applied and removed at regular intervals. Lash lifts enhance your natural eyelash and require little to no maintenance.

Lash lifts work by lifting lashes from their roots and then gluing them down to a silicone mold and applying two different solutions to form a curl. The curl will last for roughly 6-8 weeks.

This means waking up feeling like you’re wearing makeup even though you’re not! An effortless and time saving way to get up and go in the mornings, and a natural enhancement that you and everyone around you is sure to love all month long!
